artwithdepth is the brainchild of Taylor Mahony. Taylor is a sculptor, mixed media artist, filmmaker and software developer based in Bend, Oregon.

Taylor’s most recent work has included wall hanging pieces comprised of multiple layers of Mahogany and Birch. The entire piece is designed at once, allowing Taylor to mold and sculpt the various layers to achieve a desired effect.

Taylor is an avid outdoor enthusiast, and many of his designs are derived from topographies of locations based in Central Oregon and elsewhere. Other designs resemble Hindu, Shinto or Buddhist mandalas. Taylor has also been working on repeating patterns, sacred geometry, graffiti tags, and various other techniques and inspiration to achieve his artistic visions. Taylor has also designed pieces to fit specific spaces and motifs.

Each piece is an edition, and can be produced as requested, and commissions are always welcome.
